Since graduating with a PGCE in Primary Education (5-11) from Sheffield Hallam University in 2016, I have been employed at Brooklands Primary School - starting in Year Four, working in Year Six until September 2023 then moving to Year Five. As well as the responsibility of Class Teacher, I am also Phase Lead for Upper Key Stage Two.

Working within the school's governing body as staff governor is a very exciting opportunity, enabling strong relationships to thrive between the leadership of both aspects of schools to produce the outcomes that all of our children deserve - something that I, along with every staff member at Brooklands, aspires to achieve.
