At Brooklands we aim to create an atmosphere where children feel valued and where responsibility for themselves and personal endeavour is nurtured. PSHE is fundamental to this. Some PSHE will be taught by staff as incidents or opportunities arise, or sometimes as an integral part of many areas of the curriculum. Some specific aspects of PSHE are taught as part of the PSHE curriculum, including drugs education and aspects of citizenship. Children are encouraged to voice their opinions and are involved in activities which will give them the skills to work with others in a meaningful way.
